It’s named after the the Manta Rays that were once found in the Arabian Sea near Alibaug, and the warm sun rays that the east-facing villa receives. Built into two levels, the five bedrooms have their own entrances. Let the birds and a large mosaic manta ray welcome you into the lower level living room. With floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, the expansive room has a well-manicured garden and the blue sky for walls. Walk further into the pool lounge, which is surrounded by a glistening pool open to the valley.

At The Ray, spaces seamlessly blend into each other. The harmonious balance expands with the use natural materials in the decor: stone walls, sand and tropical foliage. Asian-inspired elements like totem poles for luck, traditional grinders repurposed as pots and art bring the outdoors in. Logs of wood are used as benches; the tables are large pieces of granite and stone, and crystals lamps lend warmth to an evening of conversations. In a poetic gesture, the rocks that were once part of the original mountain have a home in the villa.

The Ray is full of mysteries that will bring your childhood alive. Soak in the stunning infinity pool as the young ones splash about the lower pool with a slide. • Breakfast is complimentary.
• The staff would be happy to purchase any additional items guests may need.
• Loud music will not be allowed post 10pm and not 11pm. Soft music can be played till 11 pm.
• Smoking is prohibited in the villa. We recommend you smoke outdoors/around the pool area. While smoking, kindly use the ashtray to dispose of cigarette buds, and take all necessary precautions to prevent a fire.
• Guests are responsible for his/her personal belongings and valuables. We request you to comply with these rules and regulations to make your stay in our villa more pleasurable.
• Guests who are not checked-in or registered as guests of The Ray are not allowed to sleep, or to stay overnight.
• Guests are requested to bear with us on the check-in and check-out timings. We need this extra-time to ensure the villas are clean and sanitized for your stay.
• Breakfast timing is between 8 am to 10:30 am. This service closes at 11 am. Guests are requested to place their orders at least 24 hours in advance.
• Check-in time will be 02:00 pm on the arrival date and check out time will be 11.00 am on departure date. Early check-ins and late check-outs are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
• Guests are kindly advised that stag bookings are not permitted at this property.
